Las redes sociales pueden ayudar a los médicos a "mejorar" la atención de sus pacientes, según experto
Descripción según la fuente original: El director del Centro para la Innovación Global en eSalud del Hospital General de Toronto (Canadá), Alejandro Jadad, asegura que las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación y, en concreto, las redes sociales pueden ayudar a los médicos a "mejorar" el manejo de los síntomas de sus pacientes.
"Aún no hemos sido capaces de incorporar el teléfono móvil o correo electrónico en nuestra práctica", ha asegurado durante su participación en las I Jornadas e-Salud Castilla y León, organizadas por la Sociedad Española de Informática de la Salud (SEIS) en Ávila.
Sin embargo, añade este experto, a través de las redes sociales se puede mejorar el manejo de sus pacientes, ya que son la herramienta para "optimizar el papel de los humanos para apoyarse", al compartir información entre quienes padecen una misma enfermedad.
