The term Complex Chronic Disease refers to patients who live with two or more diseases. These cases present a major challenge to health systems throughout the world, which tend to focus on individual conditions.

This Observatory is an initiative of the Andalusian Ministry of Health in Spain, through its General Directorate for Health Innovation, Systems and Technology.
