Mission
OPIMEC's mission is "To coordinate, develop and establish from Andalusia, Spain and focus on the international level, the basic structures necessary for the creation and consolidation of a global community in the field of complex chronic diseases, through the systematic search and rigorous selection of innovations and of interest as well as promoting collaboration and exchange of scientific and technical.
OPIMEC´s vision is collaborating with the Ministry of Health of Andalusia to develop policies on complex chronic diseases, as well as public service providers, especially the Andalusian Health Service, taking responsibility for promoting new knowledge and tools to develop a new public health and a new organizational model of health and social services to people with complex chronic diseases. In addition, OPIMEC is an initiative that advocates for new technologies, open source, social networks and developing global partnerships.
