NCD Action Network

The NCD Action Network is a civil society movement, increasing resources and inspiring action to address the global non-communicable disease (“NCD”) epidemic.
NCD Action was launched in April 2011 in anticipation of the United Nations High-Level Summit on NCDs that took place on September 19-20, 2011.
Recognizing the importance of mobilizing civic coalitions, leadership and heads of state, the Young Professionals Chronic Disease Network (YP-CDN) launched NCD Action as a social movement to inspire civic action around the world. The YP-CDN is kindly hosted by the Global Health Delivery Project, an organization dedicated to improving health through global collaboration.
