This free 90-minute teleconference will explore the use of health IT applications to improve management of the care for the elderly and those in chronic pain or otherwise chronically ill.
Learning Objectives:
- Explore how health IT is affecting the care of the elderly population.
- Describe the challenges of caring for the elderly in different settings and how health IT application may improve care.
- Physicians will be able to describe how health information technology can be used to improve health care quality for those in chronic pain.
- Physicians will be able to identify health information technology strategies to implement in their practice to improve health care decision making, support patients-centered care, and improve the quality and safety of medication management.
