This is an initiative of the Ministry of Healthy Living of Manitoba that seeks to enhance the province's capacity for initiatives that support healthy living. It provides easy access to tools and resources, improves communication between non-government, government and private sector groups and organizations; creates opportunities for groups and organizations to work together; and enhances their capacity for evaluation. Because creating healthy places for healthy people to live is not something the health system can do on its own, the public and private sectors, non-government organizations, industry, schools, communities, families and individuals all have a role to play.
