Open Source World Conference 2010
The Open Source World Conference (OSWC) is probably the most important European event related to open source technologies.
Following six editions of this conference organized by the regional governments of Andalusia and Extremadura in collaboration with the most important companies in the sector, this conference has become a unique event open to everyone interested in the field of software innovation, from users, social agents and developers, through to business leaders, investors and members of public administrations.
At this new edition, we are going to discover more about the potential and the value to organisations of open source software, through master conferences as well as less through conventional formats, such as plenary sessions, round tables and training workshops, with renowned speakers and experts in the field of open source software. We also want to encourage opportunities for networking that promote the exchange of experiences, collaborations and new business, and we have meeting rooms to help participants develop contacts and to organise in-situ meetings, especially between companies and professionals in the ICT sector.
Every year this conference goes from strength to strength and once again we have managed to organize an exceptional event, with more than 8,000 delegates expected to attend. The conference will be sponsored by the most important companies in the sector, attended by European, national and regional institutions as well as open source communities from around the world.
